Directed Retreats
Ruah offers on line spiritual direction and directed retreats. With the shortage of retreat centres, many people choose to put aside some time either in their own home or travel somewhere to stay in a nurturing place of their choice.
This time aside can be supported with some online guidance/accompaniment where by you meet your director twice daily via zoom.
Join us on this very special retreat, where we will journey into healing and stillness. Drawing from the insights and breakthroughs in psychology, neuroscience and contemplative spirituality, we will find creative and powerful ways to move from stress to serenity and from pain to purpose.
(interweaving meditation, poetry, film, scriptural reflections and ritual).
Martina Lehane Sheehan has over 30 years experience as a psychotherapist, spiritual director, poet and retreat facilitator. Author of seven books, she specialises in the psychospiritual approach in her work and life.

A directed retreat is a personalized spiritual journey for individuals whose goal is to deepen their relationship with God, through a combination of prayer, silence and daily meetings with a spiritual director. Celebration of the Eucharist will take place daily. Ballyvaloo offers beautiful spaces indoors and outdoors to support you on this spiritual journey.
